"Really depends on the companies you get assigned. You can get pretty sketchy companies, but on the other hand go to startups you normally wouldn't be able to get on your first few coops. Sets you up pretty nicely for future terms if you make the most out of it."

"Great opportunity to become familiar with the startup scene. I genuinely believe that I would not have had the opportunities that I had in subsequent work terms had it not been for this work placement. Though the pay is really, really low and that made me start to resent the job."

"A pretty fun job where you can learn a lot depending on the companies you work with; Only downside is if you get a bad company and it's unpaid except for the $3000 stipend you receive throughout the work term"
