Job Description: I worked in Chris Macgowan's lab. During my term I developed a system for synchronizing the motion of the fetal heart with the MRI scanner. My job duties included writing embedded software, designing and building instrumentation hardware and running simulations with MatLab and Python. I was involved in several large scale MRI experiments, and I got to do small fun projects during my downtime including building flow phantom models of my own carotid arteries.

"This was the best co-op job I've ever had. I'm basing my future career path on opportunities I discovered in this lab. C---- was a kind supervisor, largely hands-off in his approach to running the lab, but was always there to support me whenever I needed anything from him."
